An Exploration of Women's Spiritual Journeys...
Past, Present and Future
HearthStone Circle
(formerly WomanSpirit Rising)

A Monthly Circle for Women

HearthStone Circle is a women's circle
that honors the Feminine Divine and
celebrates women's ways of knowing.
Through rituals based in Women's Mysteries,
specifically those of European Shamanism,
our Circle focuses on the Goddess as the
primary creative source in the universe
and in the lives of women.

Through ritual, education and building
community, we seek to re-member the
religion of the Mother Goddess and
incorporate Her-story into the
cultural mythology of our time.

Our spirituality is earth-honoring
and woman-affirming and predates
all patriarchal religions
for...
She is older than and
Creatrix of all that is!

Once a month, we gather in circle to
explore the rich tapestry of
women's spiritual traditions -
past, present and future.
It is a time to experience ritual,
create intimacy and
forge bonds with your
sisters of like mind.

Each Circle focuses on where we are on the
Wheel of the Year and how that manifests
in the cycles of women's lives. Rituals include
a formal learning as well as experiential
activities such as creating an altar, meditation,
and other aspects of women's rituals
and women's ways of knowing.

We read relevant materials, watch videos,
engage in spiritual art making, etc.
All activities are celebrations and/or
releases based on the learning for that Circle
and the HolyDay of the Wheel of The Year.

Come explore the rich tapestry that is
women's spirituality, meet your sisters of
like mind and grow from your own
experience of the Feminine Divine.

WomanSpirit
is another term for the
movement that came
out of the 60's and
70's whose focus was
the reclamation of
women's knowledge
and power and rebirth
of  nature-centered
spirituality.

WomanSpirit Rising
became the title of a
publication that
explored
the resurgence of
Goddess Spirituality
and growth of
Feminist
Thealogy.

Weaving The Visions
was the second
publication in this vein.

It is this from these
inspirations that
I reverently borrow
these terms.

Weaving The
Visions

Plaskow and Carol
