WISE WOMAN WAYS OF HERBALISM

Plants of Summer Solstice

Saturday, June 14th
10:00 am – 2:00 p.m.
$25
($15 Deposit appreciated by June 7th)

On or close to the Full Moon of Summer Solstice,
it is traditional to harvest such plants as Mugwort
(Artemisia vul.) and St. John’s /Joan’s Wort
(Hypericum per.).  Mugwort is great for dreaming
and visioning and nourishing our bones and St.
Joan’s Wort, traditionally used to balance our
feelings and moods is also a great external ally
(which can be used by anyone) for sore muscles
and aches/pains.

Come spend a day learning about these and other
plants of Summer Solstice and learn a traditional
way to harvest that pays special attention to
connecting to the Spirits of the Plants.

We will begin our day with a Plant Spirit
Meditation to connect with the plants and prepare
for harvest.  Then we will take our harvest and
create both spiritual and medicinal products.  At
the end of our time together, you will leave with
your own Mugwort plant plus a product you’ve
created under these magickal seasonal influences!
